This was a challenge where we had to make a creative on the topic 'LIBERTY'.
It started off as a 5 shot film which later got converted into a short film.

A fish wishes to fly but encounters a fishing net. The story is about whether the fish escapes it or not.
Storyboard
Since this was internal personal project I went for a quick scribble storyboard to just put forward the thoughts of the visuals and see the story flow. Generally for personal projects I don't go for a full fledge storyboard unless there are other people involved. Since I was the sole person creating all visual assets and animation there was no need to make a proper clean storyboard.
Post this stage I do the visual style frames and let the story evolve in the process. Like the opening bird shot was not initially in my head but just came by my head as i went on sketching and designing.
So in my personal projects I go with flow after a base framework is done rather than LIMIT myself fully with a full fledge storyboard.
This method is chaotic but is interesting and gives unexpected interesting outputs.
